Software environment

I’ve created a software setup which does not get in your way. It has no ads, and no AI. All the small machines I sell are set up like this. It is for all of you who are tired of companies forcing disservices upon you.

Debian GNU/Linux and Alpine Linux may be used as a stable base system.

No passwords

Passkeys makes it easy to log into web services safely without ever using a password. Buy one from one of the suppliers out there, or from me.

Applications

In contrast to web based interfaces, native interfaces are useful when one needs speed and snappy response. It is also essential when working offline to have everything accessible locally. I write dynamic software using an information driven approach - also labelled data driven design by some.

It’s also possible to run web services locally on your machine as long as they don’t rely on third parties for resources. Meediakaikkeus is written to not rely on third parties, so it runs just as fine locally without an internet connection.
