My hypermedia system Meediakaikkeus covers basic Dublin Core with metadata that is transferable to NOARK metadata elements. This makes it possible to use a modern system and still comply with, for example, Norwegian national archival standards.

Meediakaikkeus is also a Geographical Information System, making it easy to leverage embedded geo-reference for image as well as video formats. You will be able to find media using the map component or via location based lookup on smartphones.

The data structure for Meediakaikkeus is a immutable append only data structure. This means that all changes done are kept safe. You’ll are able to see every change and information about each change all the way back. Support for inserting changes in the future will also become a part of the system during 2026.
